I just finished reading womens dress at birka by Inga Hägg and I - TopicsExpress

I just finished reading womens dress at birka by Inga Hägg and I have to say that I am a little confused now. She talks about different garments - the shirt, the skirt and the caftan. Towards the end of the article she mentions a tunic. My understanding is that this is an additional garment, but I am not 100% sure since english is not my native language. Do you agree on it being an additional garment or is she just using a different word for shirt?
