I just finished talking with Ray, and he expects Angelica to be coming home tomorrow from the hospital, and will be at home while she decides whether to go forward with chemo and radiation (could add five years to her life), or to trust God for each day she has remaining. I will not candy-coat this folks ... Angelicas has a rare cancer that is as aggressive as any the doctors have ever seen, and it is spreading faster than even they first thought. With that said, she cannot undergo surgery tomorrow, because the cancer is in too many parts of the body, and no longer contained in the uterus as they thought just last week. I am speaking with a group of classmates who know Angelica quite well, and they are doing some wonderful things to try to establish a fund-raiser for angelica and her dad, Ray. Just last night, one of the gals dropped off a sandwich for Ray, his favorite kind of course. These are special people who have joined together in her area of Iowa, to make sure that Angelica and Ray are being cared for throughout this trial. I hope to have more info for all of you on how to contact this group, in the coming days. Until then, all we can do is pray, pray and pray. Angelica is facing a situation that none of us want to face, and she remains upbeat and hopeful in her God, to meet her every need. We know that when a doctors says No! God rubs His hands together and says well, now I can do what I do best and that is perform miracles. BTW - Thanks for all your prayers for angelica and Ray. Ray tells me that her friends have made it a point to see his needs are being met. That is an answer to our prayers. So God is not finished with this need, and we have to believe that He is not only going to use this to do some great things, but He is going to bring about answers to our prayers that will get Him tons of praise and applause. He is God on the mountain, and God in the valley. He is God in good and bad, and nothing can stop Him from doing what He has promised to do and that is help His children no matter what their needs may be! Including myself, many others will be keeping NP aware of Angelicas progress and needs, so please be patient, and we will share as soon as we get new information!
