I just finished watching CNN Anchor Lisa Linns This is Life. She did a story on test tube babies. Children who were born as a result of selective breeding. Their fathers who after going through a very intensive examination were considered elite or highly intelligent donated their sperm to a special clinic. Couples having problems conceiving children would then visit and go through a catalogue and choose a donor. The creator of the clinic-a man whose name escapes me at this time- said he established it to assist humanity filter out stupid people. Lisa spoke with a couple who had used the clinic as well as children from the clinic. The clinic was founded sometime in the 80s and closed a little after 1997 when its founder passed away. Do you think we should practicing selective breeding with each other???? While watching it I couldnt help but think of Margaret Singer, Hitler, and MoonRaker (My James Bond fans know what Im speaking about).
