I just got a call from Michael, he says hi and misses all of you very much, and I told him of the comments some of you have posted to him, by all the awwws he was making I could tell he was touched by them. He sends his love to all of you and wanted me to tell you that if you do take time to write him and or send pictures he will greatly appreciate it, but be says to be patient that his return letters could be slow in coming as he does not have a lot of his time. But he would love to hear from you and says really misses everyone. He told me to tell everyone that in spite everything he is doing well, just really wants to be with all of you. Says he is enjoying the dogs and training them, it takes a lot of his time even tho it is volunteering, he has commitments he has to do - and that alone takes a lot of time with not just training of the dogs, but the training he has to attend, grooming of the dogs and keeping everything clean. But knowing that the core training he is doing is getting them set for the training they go on to do outside for the blind, or many different handicap people that are in need for and waiting for a dog to help them in life. Says it is rewarding to know that a dog he helped get started has been placed with someone. Softball is done now, and he is playing more hand ball again. From me personally it sounds like he is a pretty good player too from what he tells me of the games he plays and the wins he has, but he is too modest to say so. :) Well until I hear from him again - thanks for your letters, messages to him. I know it really means a lot to him to know that he is thought of too. Please keep all the letters, messages and mostly the prayers to send him home coming.
