I just got a deeper love for mothers this morning by a very simple act I noticed from Melanie! She said is Jt here. He has been spending the night here some while Danielle is in the hospital. I said no, she said, oh I wanted to makes some biscuits for him before he left! I thought mothers define the word nurture! The more I find my place that God has called Breaking Free to the more I search for better ways that BF can serve so many hurting and stuck out mothers! It was one mother in particular that took my radar and put it on coming back home to Plano! She had lost her son to this Heroin epidemic here in North Tx. As I drove back to our home in Ga. and looked at Melanie, I said, sweetie I never thought I would say this but I think Jesus is calling us back to Tx to serve, and do our part to help those who hurt here in Plano. We were both silent because for twenty years our home was Ga. I had a shaker and mover family come to drop their son off for our leadership development program a few weeks ago at BF Ga. The mother looked at me with complete sincerity and said how could you give this up to come back to the city. I said Ms Elaine for one if I had not left the way you see these staff do their thang would be less with me here; they have grown to such because of my absence! Also when I see these mothers and fathers in such desperation for their children in Collin County the comfort of the country means nothing in comparison,and Jesus wants me here! Just grateful to be in the will of the Lord Jesus, and for mothers this day! Peace and love my friends!
