I just got a message from Ireland that made my heart sink.. One of my oldest and dearest friends, Mikey McNamee passed away today. He was an Irish Patriot and warrior, who stood against the British during the 1960s. I met Mikey in 1997, and we became fast friends who kept in touch from then on.. I admire, respect, and love Mikey like family, and Im saddened to hear of his passing. He was one of the bravest, and most noble men Ive ever known, and this world is not the same place with him gone. He was kin to IRA Chief Of Staff Eoin McNamee, and he did more for his people than most folks could ever think to.. And not to offend my English friends on here, but what the British regime has done to my Scottish and Irish kin is despicable. I dont blame the people, but the leaders can go burn in Hell. I dedicate this song to my friend Mikey. Thank you for what you did for yours. Ill never forget you, and Ill always remember the times we had. May the blood not have not been spilled in vain...
