I just got a text message that asked a VERY GOOD question. " What am I going to do to "FIX" Washington City?" I am sure everyone has their own opinion on what needs fixing I will share with you what I see needs to happen... I am very OPEN to your ideas to add to the list. * Be a VOICE for YOU the people *Open communication between the city and the citizens *WELCOME New Business *Promote and support small business *The citizens are the foundation of the city and Washington City officials and its employees have a fiduciary responsibility to keep it strong * Respect community values and individual rights * Honor and preserve our heritage I also feel very strongly that WE all have a responsibility to our community, there are so many ways that WE can be involved, I would like to see the over all moral of the city change, I would like to see the Washington Fields area be more involved in Washington meaning I feel that the folks in the fields need to feel like they are a part of the community. I would like to see the fields area stay "GREEN" I believe that is why people moved out that way. I could go on and on... Washington City is a wonderful place to live. We are blessed with a rich, strong Pioneer Heritage! We are "WHERE DIXIE BEGAN"...
