I just got an email asking me about the course Im teaching, and if I bought likes to get this page to 6,000. She also asked if having a blog is worth it and if I knew whether or not page fans visit my blog. The final question was if my course would help with sales. Im sharing my answer with you so everyone with a biz page can learn from it. MY REPLY: I dont buy likes and never have. Buying likes can actually KILL your page. FB rolls out a post to a small portion of your fans. If theres no engagement, the post dies. If it gets likes and comments, theyll show more fans. If you buy likes, they are not engaged people. Buying likes means a bunch of people who work in a click farm like your page. They NEVER visit it again. So, if FB rolls out a post to those accounts from the click farm, there will be zero interaction, the post will die, and eventually the page will never have any views even from the real fans. What Im teaching is engagement, not page growth. Its crucial to learn how to increase engagement before focusing on page growth. It doesnt matter if theres only 100 people, if 50 of them are engaged its better than having 10,000 ppl with zero engagement. People do visit the blog from fb.. thats where I get 90% of my blog traffic from. I would keep your website, even if you let it sit unused for a little while. Its your only real estate online. You dont own what you put on FB.. facebook owns it. They can choose to delete your page at any time.. they can choose to change or stop being a platform for ppl to use. I can not guarantee profits.. but I will show you how to post your sales posts in a way to increase engagement. I do not teach copywriting though, what Im teaching is what time to post about sales and what actions to take to make sure ppl see the sales post.
