Wolf packs are family units - they do not fight for dominance any more than we fight to see who will become the parents in our families. Animals very seldom use aggression or violence to establish their priority access to resources (which is the definition of a dominance relationship). They usually use posturing - the body language I mentioned in my previous reply.
