I just got back from a few days at the beach, which I love regardless of the fog and drizzle. Deep breathing salted air and the smell of kelp was so relaxing ! I made sure to bring my yoga mat and stretched every am/pm which really made a difference after altering my mood with the sea. We all deserve these types of getaways - just to reconnect with the body and turn off the anxiety in our brains. This calms the Vagus nerve that runs thru our GI track, so while I wasnt eating the best food on this trip (I forgot my stuff) at least I kept my tummy and whole body relaxed. Id love to hear your favorite relaxing vacation tips.
