I just got back from the General Community website, myself. I clicked on both of Bellas books and reported them for copyright infringement. Then I found six of my books and reported them. I saw 17 of Maren Smiths books, and reported them - and then I ran out of time! Grrr. This makes me so angry. How can they get away with it? However, while youre stewing and angry, think about this… dozens of readers who might never have read you before have been introduced to you… maybe theyll drift over to Amazon in the future to look you up? As a final word - be sure to google YOUR PEN NAME at least twice a year, maybe more, to look for pirated works. This is not the first time my stories have been pirated somewhere, and sadly enough, it wont be the last. In a sad way, its actually kind of flattering! Someone liked my book enough to steal it! But not enough to pay me for writing it. :(
