I just got back from visiting Mrs. Harper in the nursing home. It was hard seeing her like that. That being said, she still has some fight left in her and is yet found walking in her calling; standing up for racial inequality: She has a roommate; they are separated by a curtain only. Many of the staff there are young, (tall, for some reason) African-American males. This is right down Mrs. Harpers alley LOLOLOL. She told me several times about her male nurse who can pick her up with one hand (and then proceeded to demonstrate somewhat). She then whispered that her roommate (a White lady) had said that she preferred WHITES to BLACKS in terms of staff because WHITE PEOPLE ARE BETTER THAN BLACK PEOPLE. She said the wrong thing to the wrong person; she didnt realize Mrs. Harper aint what she want SCREAMING ROFL! Mrs. Harper said Mrs. Harper told her, Well, I guess Id better call on the GOD OF THE WHITE PEOPLE to help me while I am here...you know, the GOD...WHO ONLY HELPS...WHITE PEOPLE! Now, WHICH GOD MIGHT THAT BE? God didnt make ANYBODY to be abused, no matter what color they are! LOLOLOL She said the woman was quiet ever since. (It did not make matters any better than Mrs. Harper is experiencing ONSET DEMENTIA...and kept telling me the story OVER AND OVER...with the woman on the other side of the curtain LOLOLOL.)
