I just got done watching "Man of Steel". First, I need to say, never been a big Superman fan, so take that into account before reading this. I thought the movie was good, but no great. Steven Spielberg said recently that blockbusters are going to die, because, in his opinion, cost. I think he is right, but not because of cost of the movies, but because of lack of original ideas. Man of Steel does some new things, but between Star Trek into Darkness and Man of Steel, I just get the feeling that these filmmakers are a little too fanboy in the stories and are afraid to do anything original!
