I just got great news! Connor Walraven passed the U.S. Armys music audition and he will be assigned to my old unit the 319th Army Statue of Liberty Reserve Band. Connor will be doing his Army basic Training at Fort Lennonard Wood in Oklahoma and then ten weeks at the Navy School of Music in Virginia. Connor will be attending our band rehearsals until he leaves for boot camp. We were so very happy to have Connor at our rehearsal and will have him and his younger brother at our next rehearsal on February 7th. We have lots of new music to look over and I have solos for most of our sections. Hope to see a full concert band on the 7th, please bring a friend. Vinny.
