I just got in what may be one of the better traffic accidents ever. Turning into an alley by my office a black suv came down the parking lane (which is empty 3-6 for traffic) and didnt see me cutting through the clearance to the alley. We both saw and stopped but still bumped each other. Heres how that went down in the alley after: EXT. Venice alleyway. A very cute blond woman exits her black SUV, think buffer, shorter Joey Lauren Adams. Huge blond dude in a Subaru with a surfboard on top, gets out, carrying two huge bags of mozzarella. (Well get to that.) Me: You alright? Her: Yeah, are you? Me: Yep, no worries. Car is fine, not a scratch, yours? Her: I dont give a shit. Me: (laughing) Well, isnt this the best fender bender ever? Cute girl, no damage, there we go! Her: (extends hand, shakes) Im Erin. Me: Im Cody, Erin. Nice to *run* into you. (Both cackle.) Her: Good one. You also have A LOT of cheese. Me: Its for my bosses dogs. Her: Whats it do for them? Me: It gets them to eat their food. Its a long story. (It was.) Nice to meet you Erin, you have a great day. Her: You too. EXT. Erin walks back to her car, glances back. Cody waves, she gets in and drives off. FIN
