I just got off the phone with Bess, my Moms nurse at Parkview Hospital. She said Mom was able to say her name at about 2:00 today....WTF! I dont care if my Mom can say her name! I asked how her kidneys were and if she would be staying there another night. She said something about her numbers being low and that she was dehydrated and yes she would be staying there another night but didnt know for how long. I told her Mom had a stroke a few months ago and also has Dementia and that she prefers to be called EJ and not Ethel.I also said shes not going to get a lot of conversation with her. I wish pertinant information would get passed to each person involved. It would help them know what they are dealing with. Not very happy right now.
