I just got that phone call….my older brother, James, passed away last night around 10 PM. He had been placed in hospice care and did not last long. This is a relief, because he has not had much quality of life for the past four years. Visitation will occur on Monday, August 4, from 4-9 PM at the Davenport Funeral Home in Crystal Lake, IL. Tuesday, there will be an hour of visitation from 10-11 AM at the funeral home, then the service will occur at 11, with burial to follow. On behalf of my family, including our many relatives around the country, I want to express our deepest thanks for the many, many prayers and statements of support during James final days, especially.
