I just got the saddest message fr. my HUMANITARIAN Aidworker friend in S.Y R.I.A, Sam Luz. He messaged me 5 pm eastern; Deborah now Just now I was teaching my children (orphanage or hospital) How to make Butterflies out of used papers Telling them how wonderful butterflies were (And what they were) It is something we do regularly, normally, Were recycling And suddenly come two rockets and we had to flee, I am so sad We deserve better Well maybe I do not, But my children do Please friends help me help this man. Gesundheit has donated many things for a care package so this wonderful man will be able to continue to be a Patch-Adams style Clown for the suffering children of Norther Sy. Somebody please send me a med size lightweight tent for him to run in when he needs to flee the war-ravaged city. He stays in the city, because that is where thousands of children are, hurt, scared, with no parents, & he wants to keep joy alive, let them have a bit of a childhood, in the orphanages, in the hospitals, in the refugee camps, in the handicapped childrens ward. Please help! Send a (used OK) med lightweight tent, small toys Mardi gras beads or art supplies for children, clown dress-up stuff, especially rainbow wigs sz. 10 mens sturdy, water-resistant hiking boots. If I tagged you on this post it was because you either; 1) may actually have an extra med size light tent to donate. 2) have, or Love children, & may have some dress ups or small toys, or little hats 3) are a guy that may have a extra pair (or your friends list does) of sz. 10 boots 4) might have some extra art supplies around 5) can send some tissue paper, wrapping paper for more butterflies or can send craft store butterflies 6) could perhaps send some $ so we can buy a tent for him or donate towards the postage (were mailing the care packages to an embassy in nearby Leb) 7) are an awesome Prayer-Warrior or have an awesome team of visualizers, meditators, light workers that can redouble your efforts to pray for safety & sanity & even Joy can remain with Sam & his kids.
