I just got thru reading a complaint about the fact that a person couldnt get a dog because it had a Rescue Pending on it. The majority of Nash pets are saved by Rescues and if we didnt honor their Rescue Pendings, we would lose the Rescues. With a 95+% no show rate of people who say they are coming to adopt and do not (or they get there and the pet dont suit)... can you imagine how many would die? When I started in Aug 2010, there were 222 deaths a month! We have cut that significantly and mostly by working with Rescues. We understand that you want to adopt, but they are STILL Available for Adoption.... just not at the Shelter! Hope most of you understand. Click this photo to read our opinion, if interested.
