I just got to share this on another friends page who was asking for worst things a crush ever did to you stories (check out A Day In The Life of a Drama Queens Mama). Here was mine: The boy I had a crush on (from 8th to 12th and then nearly married) was driving me home from a school activity our senior year. Prom was coming up, I had not yet been asked. And so, in the darkened car, by the glow of the dashboard lights, he said, I have something to ask you. My heart began to pound, my hands to sweat. Trying to act nonchalant (because squealing out YES, YES, YES! wouldnt have been dignified), I replied, Sure. What is it? He paused for a long, romantic moment and then said, Do you think I should ask (insert the name of another girl we knew here) to Prom this year? He nearly ate the steering wheel :-) (And surprisingly, we are still friends to this day, lol.) Anyone else feel like sharing? Evil laugh....
