I just had a HUGE meltdown on the phone with Lowes. Actually it was with Lowes service center. We bought the 4 year extended service warranty when we got our fridge less than two years ago. My first call to them was June 17th, because our icemaker quit working, and the freezer (its on the bottom) was leaking water onto the floor every two or three days. They sent a repairman out on June 21st. He said hed have to order a part and would be back to install it the following Tuesday or Thursday. Havent heard from him yet! He wont answer his phone or emails from me or from Lowes.) (By the way, its Athens Appliance Service.) So I called the 800 number that we got with our warranty information. Ive been talking to them since July 2, and STILL have not been offered a resolution. The person I just talked to told me hed get back to me within five business days..............Then I CLOCKED. Told him (well bellowed at him), If my refrigerator is not fixed this week well be at Lowes in Athens when they open Friday morning and will wheel it into the store, and wheel a new one back out! Well, all of a sudden they found a repair service who can be here Thursday afternoon. Im not completely satisfied with that but Im not finished making calls yet. But first I have to run around the house kicking the shit out of things to get my BP down!
