I just had a fantastic bike ride around the outskirts of Durham! I well recommend it. The route was from where I live to: Low Pittington, West Raignton, Newton Hall (the back way), North End, Durham - Past Bow School & the University, Bowburn, Coxhoe, Quarington Hill, Shadforth, Sherburn Hill, Sherburn, and back home! 25 miles total, what a fabulous ride! It took me 1hr 38mins and my chain was VERY squeaky after cycling in the rain yesterday!
