I just had a memory moment of when my son was still in high school. A cell phone rang on a computer desk he shared with his mother. They shouted back and forth that the phone belonged to the other because they both used the same ring tone. Finally in total exasperation my son shouted, MOM, it is yours. It is half a step lower pitch than mine. Did I say he has perfect pitch? I laughed so hard from my man cave my sides hurt because he had been arguing with his teachers that he did not have perfect pitch. He is at Cleveland Institute of Music in his junior year, majoring in performance viola.
