I just had a squirrel in my house! Thats right, a freakin squirrel!!! The dogs and I were sitting in the living room relaxing and we suddenly hear this weird noise. Like a good mom, I quickly do a head count of my children to see which one could be getting into trouble. Well, the typical trouble-makers were with me so we all get up to go investigate. We found a squirrel chattering away in my sunroom! I dont know how he got in, but it was quite the experience trying to get him out! After about 30 minutes of chasing the darn thing, an excited phone call to my dad (mom answered), then another excited phone call to Central Dispatch, my dogs finally chased it outside because somewhere in there I did find the common sense to open the back door just in case the dogs did chase it out! I took Central Dispatch by surprise. The poor girl had never had a squirrel call before. I assured her that Id never had a squirrel in my house before either! Tomorrow I will clean up all of the messes that were made while chasing the squirrel. For now, my dogs get extra treats!
