I just had a weird dream. I dreamt that I was in an incredibly hazy place where skyscrapers were being built. When I was parking in the outdoor parking lot of a completed one, I saw a friend taking a picture of me so when I got out I asked that friend hey, wanna have lunch?. That friend just said no, but there (inaudible) around and walked away without saying bye. On my way out of the parking lot, I noticed an Indian man on a motorbike with a pad and a pouch. He was counting money when I was making my way out wondering if he was gonna approach me. I thought he looked like a parking attendant. Then, I walked into another skyscraper. When I got in the building, something out of a disaster movie played out. This caucasian(Im not racist. I guess I just tend to watch more western than eastern films) woman walked towards her husband with a worried look and fear in her eyes. The husband looked at her and said the tsunamis coming like they knew it was coming but just not when. The people around were all in a state of panic. I thought of running to my car and driving away and whether Id make it. After running out of the building and seeing how crowded it was, I concluded that I wouldnt make it. I reentered the building and I saw some girly schoolbags on the floor against a wall so for some reason I thought theyd provide a bit of cushion so I grabbed two and leaned on the wall near some people hoping that theyd take some of the tsunamis impact from me(because sharing is caring ^^). One bag was between me and the wall and the other was in the direction of the tsunami. I shouted to the people nearby me to grab bags but they just looked at me for a moment with horrified faces and continued panicking. (The guy in the group of people closest to me in distance looked like a hybrid between Tom Hanks and the old scientist from Thor) The tsunami was on its way and before the water came in, my alarm woke me up. It was a pretty interesting dream. Ive always been curious as to how Id react to a huge life-threatening disaster. If youre a psycologist/neurologist or just someone who has knowledge on how and why the brain does odd things like dreaming of a seemingly nonsensical situation, let me know your thoughts on this. I think I should post this on Reddit. Hahaha By the way, I took about 50 minutes to write and proofread this on my phone.
