I just had an amazing experience. Our female goat Molly gave birth...I noticed some discharge issuing out of her this morning so we put her away with hay and water and watched and waited. I put my hand on her and prayed for a smooth delivery and immediately she had a contraction and the process seems to kick into high gear....the kids and I donned masks and gloves as the excitement grew. Within the hour she gave birth to two baby goats. All three of my kids watched in awe and amazement as she pushed them out. I helped pull the baby goats out, totally wonderful and awesome! Just watched them get on the feet and we helped them latch on to the nipples and feed. Video coming soon...captured the whole thing! :)
