I just had an art attack -- literally. I ripped a box in half threatening to use the cardboard as canvas until I remembered -- I had canvas in my closet! I did this in 5 minutes...Im actually using 4 different types of Behr exterior housepaints with some staining with oil paint. I wanted to create the look of a piece of slightly aged lumber wood....I still havent painted my idea on it yet but for some reason I just needed to make a decent effort to create a wood background beforehand. Does anyone see this and see a piece of aged lumber wood? The raised paint in the middle is what I am going to work off of later.I wanted a honey/mahogany light grain look to it.
