I just had an intruder in my house... he or she was about 8 inches long (counting tail) I went to my kitchen and heard meYOWL meYOWL... I wish I had taken a picture of him, but he was a little black brown tan mottled kitten that decided my back door was his momma.. I picked him up, took in to the front door and decided I probably needed more than boxer shorts to trek to the neighbors house (they have cats). I sat the little...um.. bugger down to put on my jeans and he SPRINTED (not scurried or scampered) behind my couch... I said a few expletives... simply because I KNOW how heavy my couch is... so I hoped and tried the Here kitty kitty kitty and ya know what?!?! IT WORKED!! this little ball of fur came out and right too me.. by this time I was decent for public viewing and took him to the neighbors who have cats (I know this from past history with Dakota, which is funny to all that hear it.. but I still grind my teeth over) and I limp my gimpy self to the neighbors. I present said little cute adorable kitten to the child of the house, and she says Oh we have many of them running out back, just let him down So I ask Then you are saying he is just kind of a wild cat? at this point he LEAPS (but does not claw) from my hand.. and SPLATS on the concrete porch... I am shocked and worried... she looks down then back up and says Yeah pretty much kitten scurries off.. and after this week... I have no scurry in me to chase him.. if I hear meYOWL again in my back room.. I am not being a concerned neighbor. (do not read that negatively)
