I just had the best service call ever! The airconditioning company I use (Butcher Air conditioning) sent a man out from New Iberia (about a 30 mile trip one way). He took the covers off of the outside unit, washed it down, added freon and checked it out, then crawled down into the hull to check the inside unit. Altogether he spend about an hour checking and servicing my AC. He gave me new material for my permanent ac filters, then presented me with a total bill of $63.00. Most companies would have charged that much for the trip out here then added the service charges.
