I just had the scariest thing of my life happen. While running on the access road to the Guest River Gorge I was deliberately targeted by a car! Even as I jumped to avoid being hit it left the road and I literally felt the bumper brush the hair on my arm. I wore bright clothing, saw it coming, made eye contact with the person driving, waved my arms... it was a deliberate attempt! As I laid in the brush it sped away without stopping to check on me. It was a red Chevy cobalt I think, no idea of the tag with a dark headed female driving. To all my running and biking friends, please be safe out there and if this happens to reach the lady who was driving... what on earth were you thinking?
