I just had the weirdest dream! Melissa Archambeault Dalton and I were going into a feral cat colony to rescue a pregnant cat. She had a daughter, who just happened to be the 11-year-old daughter of my neighbor, but in the dream she was Melissas and could drive. The cat colony was Dukes Riverside, no longer a West Shore dinner hot spot but now overrun with cats. So, Melissa, her daughter and I get in there, none of the cats scatter as feral cats would do, and we find the pregnant cat. Melissa puts a wet, folded paper towel on her chest because, its important to keep them hydrated, and picks her up in her cat bed and swoops her out. In the meantime, I find an Asian toddler with Downs Syndrome hiding in the cat colony. I know, the plot thickens. Also, keep in mind that Pony is glued to my side- a perfect, off-leash heel- Jillian Karns would be so proud. He didnt bother a single cat and they seemed to not notice him at all. So, I pick up the toddler who is surprisingly well-fed and dressed, but clearly ill, and take him outside. Melissa tells me that he is her neighbors kid and that she wont let anyone help her or to get help for him. It just so happens that I have Westons car seat in my car so I take him anyway. Melissas daughter goes home, Melissa takes the cat to see Dr. Dana and I take the Asian Downs baby to the ER after dropping Pony at home. I cant stop thinking about the cats.
