I just have to say that I loved the first Cosmos, as thats my kind of TV, but Neal deGrasse Tyson not only does not have the same presence as Astronomer Carl Sagan, Neil also doesnt know as much about astronomy. My beau and I couldnt get through the first episode of the new Cosmos! We were so disappointed at the lack of fact checking and the sheer perversion of history that we gave it one star on Netflix. (Id give it a big fat zero if I could.) So if any of you watch this new Cosmos, I suggest taking out your smart phones or tablets and check the facts, turn it off and go find the original Cosmos from 1980 with Carl Sagan, because despite being out of date its still more accurate than Tysons version.
