I just have to share our day today. We agreed to foster a sweet dog for a week from the dallas animal shelter for Dallas Pets Alive. If we hadnt, he would have been put down today. He will go to his permanent foster next week when shes done traveling. Yall....Ive never been to animal shelter....it was gut wrenching. I cried while in there and I had to force myself to leave all those babies there when every fiber of my being was screaming in protest. If I could save every animal, I would.....but I cant. I can try to help when I can which is what we are doing now....I urge all of you, if you cant adopt, look into fostering. Even temp fostering as we are doing right now....you might become a miracle for an animal....and I always will believe that the good we do in the world attracts more and more light. And while I have your attention, meet Rocket.....a 2 year old mix that is sweet, super gentle, very quiet, great with kids, dogs, and possibly cats (he met one on his walk and hardly paid her any attention when Mike deliberately walked him towards her)....and seems to be getting love and affection for the very first time.
