I just have to testify...last night as I was coming home from work...I stopped to get something to eat (it was a divine appointment). I went in and ate and the Lord spoke to me to give my waitress a gift and spoke the amount in my heart. A big lump came up in my throat as I sat there and questioned God. I mean...helloooo! It was the weirdest thing ever (strange things always happen to me). I was trying to jew God down...if it is you God let that number pop up on the juke box (I know that is so hilarious) I bet HE was laughing at me. I was like...give me a sign Lord...then I heard these words My sheep know my voice whew we! As I reached in my purse to get my check book, the Holy Spirit said, give her cash...I never carry cash...but I had a deposit ready to make...mostly checks but when I looked in the deposit...there it was, the exact amount that the Lord spoke into my heart to give. I had a journal in my purse that my friend Linda Ann Dunaway) gave me for Christmas and I pulled it out and penned down the ENCOURAGING words that the LORD gave me for her and wrapped the gift inside the note. All the way home I thought about what had just happened...(enough said) it was definitely GOD. This morning when I pulled up my fb the first post I read was a post by Randy Walker that read: I have discovered that when I am obedient to the LORD in giving, the more HE provides for me to give. What a mighty and awesome GOD we serve. May GOD bless you all I am crying so hard right now...trying to share this with someone...be obedient regardless of your circumstances...GOD honors those that honor HIM. I pray that in 2015 I will be OBEDIENT in every area of my life. I pray that someone will get this and by all means know that I am in no way patting myself on the back...but there is no feeling like the feeling you get when you obey God...even when it doesnt make sense! ~sdw~
