I just heard Joel Osteen talk about a bird that used to come to his mums courtyard and I remembered my own sparrow story. Eleven years ago while going through a horrible break-up, loss of my twins, loss of a huge investment etc; I got this bird that would come to the pear tree in the yard at 5am to 6am and chirp away. For months I looked forward to its company and it never missed a day; it ministered to my darkness. During this time when there was no one around, God was there in a bird to comfort me. You wonder how I knew that? Because immediately things turned around it stopped coming.
