I just heard a really sad story. I know this women, in her late 50s, her husband and soulmate died about 9 months ago, she cant afford to pay the mortgage on her house, so she has got some boarders in. This woman works, and when she goes home at night, she just goes to her room, and stays there until she until she goes to work the next day... and you know why, her 3 boards are are all young people, and they constantly tease her, about how she should get a facelift down, cause she has so many wrinkles, and how she will never meet another man when she looks so ugly, how her clothes are from the last century, all nasty stuff like that. I asked her why she doesnt get new boarders, and she said, that she has changed boarders twice since her hubby died, and these ones at least dont wreck her house, or have partys. She said she just cant stick up for herself, because when she tries to say anything she just crys, and started crying while she was telling me. I felt so bad for her, and held her hand, and rubbed her back, which made her cry more, and she said, that was the 1st human contact she had had since her husband had died. Sad huh.
