I just heard from my sister Julie a short while ago, and the news is very good. They ran extensive tests at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, and they found no trace of cancer at this point. They will keep testing periodically, of course - but the longer she goes without the cancer reappearing, the better chance she has if surgery is eventually needed again. Right now, she couldnt have had surgery, if they had found more cancer. So, she still has another 4 weeks to go on the chemo, and then wait for the next tests and hope for the best!
