I just heard that the Miss America Organization on the state level is having the contestants sign a form that they arent working with a pageant coach? vocal coach walking coach make up lessons piano teachers tumbling instructors parents?? If it doesnt make sense why would you do it? Why would you take away from a young ladys confidence to compete in a program that is about being the best version of themselves? Now what is going to happen is Miss America is creating a slew of contestants that are going to be forced to lie about their personal life and their personal success just to win, which will create a whole other monster as far as character is concerned! Way to go Miss America! I think its bad enough most local pageants can barely muster up 4 contestants and now they want them to sign a legal document stating that they arent receiving any help from anyone!!! There is this old adage Dont cut off your nose to spite your face!
