I just keep telling myself that 2015 will be our year. Has to be our year. We have certainly experienced our share of trials this year. Last night on my way home from helping out at Linas. The car in front of me turned on their left blinker near these apartments at the bottom of Red Dirt Hill. As I slowed down and got into the right hand lane even further, they suddenly shot out to the right, right in front of me and came to nearly a dead stop. There was nothing I could do to avoid hitting them and hit their right rear end with my front right bumper. That sent them into the ditch/trees and damaged my front end and radiator (both had to be towed). My neck hurts and my head is pounding today, but I am so grateful. I am grateful hat I was wearing my seatbelt and eternally grateful that for once, neither of the kids was in the car with me! That virtually NEVER happens! Because I was filling in at the restaurant, Papa had the kids at his house. I am grateful that neither had to experience the fear and adrenaline associated with an accident and that neither were there to be potentially hurt. I was found not to be at fault and the other driver was cited. It could have been much worse as se ha a passenger and her dog in the vehicle with her. Things like this suck, but I am grateful it wasnt worse
