I just learned a lost sweet pet friend. My cat, Nook, has passed away! He was the one that started it all, with a desperate meow. Only to learn there was him and another kitten stranded in our subfloor. Two weeks later, we would find Shock and a year later, we were blessed with Jet. Of the cats, Nook was the most affectionate. We spent many mornings having coffee together, him sitting in my lap enjoying every second! I will miss him tremendously. His death is on the final day of my summer vacation and I must admit, this has been a difficult summer with Aaron leaving for college and all that goes along with that. The summer of 2014 has been a summer of significant change. Rest well, sweet Nook! You were an awesome addition to our family and will be greatly missed.
