I just learned of the passing of my friend Gretchen Passantino Coburn. She had the courage to correct me, listen to me, care for me, and love me and the ministry I am involved in. She gave a touching touch of love and advice in the group I invited her to Wichita Homeless Coalition as well as had her own struggles with ministry I had shared. She was a sweet, sweet soul. She had invited me into her home, read and used my writings in her own ministry from The Virtual Pew and Hollywood Jesus. I valued her so much that I had asked her to at times edit my writings including being involved with my new book, helping edit A Christmas Story. I will greatly miss her, but I also know this, I will see her again in the glories of Heaven, while today is sad, it is a homecoming for her. For those who have the relationship with Jesus that Gretchen has, you will know what I mean. I will miss you Gretchen until we see each other in Heaven. Today, pray for her family, friends and ministry.
