I just left my meeting with the community center and I am still trying to process everything I have learned. First thing would be that it is for everyone... and second WOW, are we lucky to have such an amazing resource right here! It is truly community focused and puts large emphasis on prevention before intervention is needed. I know a big need is volunteers. No matter what types of skills you have the community center can use you. From facilities, to fundraising, to helping students with reading and writing over the summer etc. they would love your help. They are the heart of our community and need all of us to step up and keep it pumping! Thank you Mark, Jim and Kelly for your time today
