I just left the hospital for the night. Suzanne is sleeping peacefully in the ICU recovery room. She is alert and awake! She will stay in the ICU recovery area until tomorrow morning. She has her own nurse that is attending to her constantly (Miss Tina.... shes a talker & an ex-triathlete) She is in good spirits and is feeling no pain! I was able to feed her ice chips and spend a great deal of time with her. She has a long road ahead, but so many people are surrounding her with love and support! Huge thank you to her best friend Tony, Lanae Barnes, Karen Smith Paxton, Lisa Taback Reiss, Suzanne Senzatimore, Lisa Smith, and Grace who were there once again today at the ready to do whatever they could to help! What an outstanding group of people! Remember people..... life is about loving each other, sharing the most valuable commodity we have, our time, and making a difference in someones life through acts of service. Lift people up, love them with all your heart, have compassion for everyone, and never forget that we never know when our time on this beautiful planet is up.
