I just lost points on my paper for last week because my instructor said I fail to see how Langston Hughes is a representation of African American identity Umm, seriously lady?? Are you kidding me? We had to write about three African Americans from Slavery period until after the Reconstruction and Harlem Renaissance, etc. I wrote about Frederick Douglass, Hiram Revels (First African American Senator) and Langston Hughes...because you know, hes friggin LANGSTON HUGHES. Somebody needs to go back to school and get educated and its NOT ME!!
