I just love torturing keyboard warriors. As those who listen to Brian and I on HEX Education know, over a week ago, some crazy obsessed vegan chick freaked out because the steamboat were having our opening ritual on for HexFest has seven vegetarian options among the twelve items, but nothing vegan. Of course, they also dont have gluten free, sugar free, low carb, low salt, low fat, and theyre not obsessing over seafood allergies, peanut allergies, tree nut allergies, pollen allergies. They wont apologize for rices, spices or real cheese slices, and they have the old attitude that if you dont like it, dont eat it. Of course that simply wasnt good enough for our arbiter of all things angst and she just kept going on and on because she just had to be right. I managed to end that by telling her that, for every word she typed to me from that point on, I was going to purchase one pound of meat and throw it away. She managed to squeeze in another 49 pounds of meat, um, oops, I mean words before she finally worried I might actually do it. Of course I could never do it because my best friend is an animal activist and would probably grind me into Witchburger. But oh was it ever fun raining on her self-righteousness.
