I just needs some words of support. I have just found out that my mums dog has been taken ill and at vets since Sunday. He went off his food Boxing Day night, sat morning he had blood in his pee and then vomited up food he had eaten, she travelled home from burnley ( she was visiting grandson with my sister) stayed at my sisters Saturday night in Norwich, still no better and pee was black couldnt get any appointment with my mums vet in Lincolnshire, so rushed him to my sisters vet where he is, scanned for tumours etc but all clear but his blood count has dropped from 10 to 7 and has had two blood transfusion, one at the moment. My mum is now at home alone, as my dad only passed away suddenly on 13th October and this little dog who sweetest little boy has kept her going through this horrible period. I feel totally helpless, they suspected liver as he did have yellow eyes but prior to Friday evening he had been totally normal full of energy, eating and exercising!
