I just posted this for our Ready For The Shift Group, but I thought it was important to share it with all of my friends, regarding Voting in tomorrows election, or Not Voting as in my case... Are you going to vote tomorrow in the midterm General Election? Im not. There are only 3 positions on the ballot in our district, PA Gov (plus Lt Gov), PA House and State House. We have 3 choices for Gov, The Toms, the bonehead Republican Incumbent Tom Corbett, a Democrat High Tax Businessman Tom Wolf, and a former Republican turned Independent Constitutional Populist, i.e. Tea Party Republican, who is a former DJ and carpet layer, Tom Lineaweaver. So I will not vote for any of those, none are good choices for PA and I refuse to be a part of more of PAs demise. For PA House, we have a new GOP candidate Michael Ciach vs the Dem incumbent Thad Kirkland, who has been in office for 21 years and is useless. So even though this man supports our PA House GMO Labeling Bill, I dont align with him in any other way and I refuse to vote for him just because hes supporting GMO Labeling. That brings us to the US House candidates, the 16 year Dem incumbent, Robert Brady vs GOP Megan Rath. Anyone who has been in the system as long as Brady had plenty of time to make significant changes. He hasnt. Although I consider myself mostly liberal, I refuse to play the game to just give my vote to the Dems, so that the GOP candidates dont get in. Screw that paradigm. Unless an Independent candidate comes along who aligns with many of my values, I refuse to vote at all. Will I ever vote again? Well I wont say never. It all depends on when the people decide to take their power back. Power that they dont even realize they have. John Lennon got it, even in mid 1968 when this interview was recorded. youtu.be/1Kw52mG1EzU
