I just posted this on Cinco de Mayos FB page. If you agree, please head over there and add your complaint. I refuse to have our members treated in this fashion. I have to say that I am very upset about our experience at Cinco de Mayo yesterday. We own a very busy business in the neighborhood and both we (the owners), and our patrons eat there regularly. While we love your food, your service yesterday was inexcusable. We came in with a group of 20 people, every one of which bought drinks and food. When I came in a little while after the rest of my party and asked for an additional table to accommodate another 5 people, I was told that we had to hurry up and leave within the hour because the dinner rush would be coming in. EXCUSE ME! There was hardly anyone in the restaurant aside from our group and we had no intention of hanging out all night. Were we not eating and drinking enough? We spent over $1000. I told that person that I would gladly take my 25 people to Dempseys so he could have his tables back and he rolled his eyes at me. I know the people there would have been much more welcoming. Instead, we remained at Cinco but didnt order any additional drinks, so yes, now you lost at least an extra $500 that we would have gladly spent at your establishment. I find this kind of behavior inexcusable in a customer service based business, or any business for that matter. While we love your food, I cannot in good conscience ever return to Cinco de Mayo and I will make sure that all of my patrons are aware of what took place. I am insulted as both a patron and a business owner and you should be ashamed of yourselves for your treatment of our group. The next time we want Mexican food, Im sure Tequila Sunrise will gladly take us in.
