I just read Hebrews 11 again this morning. It is so packed with such great revelation on faith! I believe that verse 6 holds the key to unlocking the promises of God for our lives. But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of thsoe who diligently seek Him. The one thing that pleases God is faith. Hebrews 11:1 gives us a very clear definition of faith. In practical everyday application I believe that faith is expressed by trusting God. In order to trust someone you must first believe them, and believe what they say. The Bible is Gods word to us and it is up to us to believe His word. Sometimes our faith is expressed by just getting up another day and living out our faith by trusting God no matter what we are facing. Faith never gives up, never lets go, and never dies. Faith pleases God...and when God is pleased...well, its a good day!
