I just read Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander, M.D. It was a waste of my time. Although I am always open minded to new information, he does not provide any proof of Heaven. I must admit, I did not expect any. I believe in Heaven as a matter of my Catholic faith so I do not need proof. He does provide an interesting (in one sentence) tidbit about the possibility of Limbo and/or Purgatory, two places I do have doubts about, but never naming either. I am insulted at the sheer simplicity of its content; as if the intended audience is uneducated in 3rd grade level particle physics. He makes broad statements, but never back them up--examples too lengthy to go into here. Bravo to his marketing advisors, though! Had he had entitled it something different, it may have not been a best seller. I probably would have never read it. IF any comments made are insulting to God or religion, they will be deleted. Other than that, if you have read this book, I would like to hear what you have to say.
